Robert (Feb 21, 2007)

"With divine intervention, Jef & Lena miraculously brought together a great group of hard working, pro-active personalities that seems to have ever-growing love & friendship towards each other -- just like a one big happy family, but WITHOUT any previous NEGATIVE BAGGAGE of jealousy, back-stabbings, hatred, and envy. So it's all 100% positive energy, fun, friendship and living. They are the perfect spice, or, the perfect topping for busy Central Florida Russian cultural enthusiasts and ex-patriots. "

About this Meetup

Privet!
Welcome to the Russian Culture Society, we look forward to meeting you at the next event!
Our group has more information in English and Russian at our official website: http://www.orlandorus...

This group has a primary focus to be social, enjoy each other?s company and make new friends. We enjoy meeting and sharing stories of our travels and experiences as Russians, Americans and many of the East European countries of the former Soviet Union. We have singles and couples of all ages, each with a diversity of interests. You will only be a visitor once as you quickly make friends quickly in this outgoing and warm family of Russian and English speakers.

**What to expect at your first Meet up**
We usually congregate outside a restaurant and get seated at one time. As you arrive you will see members wearing Russian name tags. We try to spot new comers and quickly introduce them to everyone. If you post a photo in your profile it is much easier to recognize you ;-)

This group simply inspires conversations with endless topics for discussion, and there are several talks going on at any one time. You don't have to be fluent in Russian! Several of our members are beginners and some talk only in English while Russian Speakers will change back and forth between languages. The group is more about sharing ideas and experiences than practicing Russian.

A word about membership: Once you join the group, you have 30 days to "sample" the group and see if it fits your interests. After the 30 days we ask that you pay your membership fee, $30.00 per family, per year. This covers our communications and administrative costs.

It's your responsibility to ensure you are a member in good standing once the 30 day trial period has passed. We will not embarrass you about this issue by asking you to pay during an event or social, so please don't wait for someone to approach you about your membership. Thanks for your understanding and support.
