This meetup will be held it the restaurant area of the Russian Banya of Dallas. There is no fee to enter and you are not required to purchase anything to attend the meetup. Please RSVP if you intend to come. You do not need to RSVP "No" if you will not be attending, unless you are changing a previous RSVP.

This meetup is mainly to keep things going until the official "relaunch" we are planning. There will be more details to come.

This years gathering, our 13th, will be on April 25th, the last Saturday in April. Same place, Central Park in Lewisville. People usually begin arriving starting as early as 11am and continue up through the afternoon. Food will usually begin being served about 12 (or 12:30). Usually were packed up and gone by around 6 or 7pm.
I will supply and cook hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken. Many of these fine Russian ladies with some of the fantastic things they create make for our wonderful covered dishes.

You will see three covered pavilions at Central Park and we will be at the first one, closest to the parking lot. There is a nice playground where kid's and dog's can play.
If the weather looks bad remember we have a covered pavilion. Three years ago it rained for about one hour and then the sun broke out and it was a wonderful day. So should we have light clouds do not let that stop you from attending, you won't get wet.
Some of the main purposes of our get together are
(a) To help Russian/Ukraine ladies to meet other Russian/Ukraine ladies in the metro-plex.
(b) To help married or engaged couples to meet other new couples. Sometimes couples meet and find out they live within 5 minutes of each other. I think it was last year, maybe the year before last, and I heard these two young ladies hollering with joy. They were both from Lviv Ukraine and lived about 10 minutes from each other here.
(c) Men who are involved with, or thinking about getting involved with the pursuit for a Russian bride. Men need to meet other couples, find out who lives close to him, exchange information so that when he does find his Russian bride and brings her to North Texas he will have some other Russian ladies he can introduce his wife/fiancée to.
Instructions if you are heading north on 35E, as if you were going from Dallas to Denton. As you are about halfway thru Lewisville you will take the Fox Avenue exit, number 451. When your on the service road you will take your second right, Fox Avenue west (first right after the overpass) and you will go over the highway heading west. Go 6/10 of a mile to Edmonds, the first light you will come to. Take a left and go 1.3 miles and you will see Central Park on the left.
If you are coming from Grapevine or the airport take 121 into Lewisville and the first light you come to will be Edmonds. Take a left on Edmonds, go about 1.5 miles and you will see Central Park on your right.
