- I have been studying Russian language and culture off and on (mostly off at this point) for about 7 years. I spent 2 months in Russia in 2002 teaching English, and I'd love to return someday...

I have been teaching myself for about 2 months now with books, flash cards, software (RosettaStone) and IMing with some friends in Ukraine, Russia and Moldova. My major was Classical Culture so I had exposure to the Greek used in Cyrillic. The going has been slow - I think this group wil give me the practice and confidence to have a conversation in Russian. I look forward to the meeting! ”
