Meet local Russian language and culture lovers! Practice your Russian speaking skills.
My personal objective in organizing this group is to find a place where I can hang out with other Russian speakers and practice my Russian.
I also recognize that we have many people who are interested in learning Russian. Although I am not a Russian teacher, I've decided to offer some opportunity for learners to interact with more fluent speakers to improve their Russian skills.
When you join the group, please try to upload a photo and complete the introduction so other group members can learn more about you!
I have high hopes that I will continue to organize more events. I just can't seem to commit to more than 1 meetup per month :(

11/18/09 update: I'm sorry that I haven't been organizing events this past year. I'm grateful to the assistant organizers who stepped up recently to help me organize events. If anyone else wants to take the lead and organize even one event, please drop me a line! Perhaps my New Year resolution will be to organize more events!!
